Haji ismail Group Sdn. Bhd. doing business in retail and wholesale. Established in 2005 in conjunction with the original acquisition of the company Haji Ismail Group which was established in 1987. Has a total of 8 shareholders consisting of family members of the late Haji Ismail bin Ahmad. Now the company has 5 outlets. 4 operates in Kuah Town while another 1 operating at Jetty Point Complex. The main products are duty-free goods consisting of different types of chocolate, Kitchen Goods, Luggage and Batik and Pelikat. Open 8.00 am to shops operating in Langkawi Jetty Point and 9.00 am for the other branches.

The company has set up commercial complex project on March 21, 2013 that have 1) Parking Car (sub basement level) 2) 2 storey Commercial Complex (ground floor and first floor) and a 3-star hotel on 13 November 2013. . Is among the largest companies in Langkawi undertaking to import duty-free goods. Among the imported goods is chocolate, crockery, kitchen items, luggage, batik, sarong, towel and so on. Most tourist will come to this new complex because all thing has been provided here such as Surau, food stall, souvenir shop, hotel HIG beside the complex and you also can shopping.

The company also has built one store block building business bazaar containing 24 stalls and 4 units of food stalls as well as other amenities.
